The entire cabin and property are yours during your stay. It is a studio-style layout with a separate bunk room, sized right for fishing partners, tournament teams, and hunting buddies (up to 4 guests).
After a day on the water or in the stand, fire up the grill, sit around the fire pit, or catch the game on the screened patio TV, then get some sleep before an early launch.

Fishing Lake Sam Rayburn
At about 114,500 acres, Sam Rayburn is the largest lake entirely within Texas. It is nationally known for largemouth bass and hosts hundreds of bass tournaments each year, from local club events to the pro trails. Crappie and catfish fishing are strong year-round too.
The cabin is two blocks from the shoreline. The closest public ramp, Cassels-Boykin, is about 9 miles away by road, and guests also launch at nearby ramps like Monterey and Jackson Hill.
Hunting the Angelina National Forest
The cabin sits inside the roughly 153,000-acre Angelina National Forest, which wraps both shores of Sam Rayburn. The general forest is open to public hunting with a Texas hunting license, and the Bannister WMA requires TPWD's Annual Public Hunting Permit.
Popular game in the area includes white-tailed deer, feral hogs, waterfowl, and squirrels. Always check current Texas Parks & Wildlife and U.S. Forest Service rules before you hunt.
